Complete luxury rebranding project for a private investor keen on resurrecting a heritage sterling silver tableware company, its renowned archives, and its unparalleled craftsmanship and making the brand viable for business in the 21st Century. The company had originally been called Alexander Sturm 1883 and its archives boasted designs from such luminaries as Josef Hoffmann, Otto Prutscher, Oswald Haerdtl, and Koloman Moser.
Developed entire brand DNA: look and feel, brand name, logo, corporate communications and specified its product range by selecting from its historical archives of 12,000 products. Initiated new products with young designers and spearheaded the partnership with the Wien Products Group to participate at international design fairs such as Maison & Objet in Paris.
Selected and worked closely with architect to instill the brand’s new DNA in the design of flagship boutique in Vienna, ensuring that the client receives the full brand experience while shopping.
